I have come out of the other side of that intense physical parenting mode-( although I have two teens which requires a different kind of emotional involvement) and I wanted to let you know that you find little snippets of time and space for yourself as you go through the ever changing needs of family life. For years I made little works or painted furniture or made crafty things while I couldn't devote larger periods of time to my 'real' work. Now I am painting more regularly, getting back to my art self and it feels great-like visiting with an old friend whom you haven't seen in a long time. So don't worry, keep doing what you do, you'll always be there for yourself! and have a great day!!
xo ingridingrid ellisonhttp://www.ingridellison.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474396862557029662.post-87308127301267362352012-02-10T20:49:43.852-05:002012-02-10T20:49:43.852-05:00I loved your post today and the wonderful thing is...I loved your post today and the wonderful thing is that you have baby AND are still painting, which is really really hard to do ... so thank you for the inspiration. xSilviahttp://scribblesbysilvs.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474396862557029662.post-6365328933686606572012-02-10T09:44:09.455-05:002012-02-10T09:44:09.455-05:00Thank you Sarah for this. yes, those pre-kid days ...Thank you Sarah for this. yes, those pre-kid days are gone forever but there are those moments that the old you peeks back in. your work looks lovely xoDana Barbierihttp://www.danabarbieri.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474396862557029662.post-52211901102878079402012-02-10T06:19:56.756-05:002012-02-10T06:19:56.756-05:00Lovely work, it looks so gorgeous all together on ...Lovely work, it looks so gorgeous all together on the wall :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474396862557029662.post-50727790484132359962012-02-10T00:31:40.754-05:002012-02-10T00:31:40.754-05:00Your work looks lovely on the walls!

At the time I had a little one about your daughter's age and I distinctly remember seeing your work for the first time and feeling both inspired by your paintings and horribly jealous of your time (really my own pre-baby time).
Anyways, I felt called to let you know that from an outside perspective it seems like you have handled the transition gracefully and with humor~ which is something refreshing to see. It is nice to witness other mamas out there being honest about the juggling act of being both an artist & a mom.
all the best.Sweet Messhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15506476980688018993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474396862557029662.post-31069117324466736122012-02-09T22:27:35.349-05:002012-02-09T22:27:35.349-05:00wish i could have been there too... but am so glad...wish i could have been there too... but am so glad you made it and that you recognize the gift you gave yourself : )tangled sky studiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15611693183640996785noreply@blogger.com
