the BIG news!

i wrote a book.


and i'm so happy to finally be able to share the exciting news with you here!

i. wrote. a. book.

i have to keep repeating this, as i don't quite believe it myself! so, you see, in between having a baby and moving, i was working away on this. painted pages will be released in may of 2011 and is being published by quarry books. it's actually already on amazon, available for pre-order. how exciting!

remember when i said thea was coming over? well, we were working on shooting the book throughout this spring and summer, and i'm over the moon that she was my photographer! how lucky am i!? we have had a blast together and are even scheming our next project...

so that's it, that's the BIG news! i can't wait to hear what you all think!

i'll have more behind the scenes news to share about the process and even a wee little peek inside...

i'm sitting here now with my first laser copies of the whole book, it just arrived via fed-ex. wow. so thrilling to see it on paper!

    Pippin-she is a super mom- Sarah amazes me with her ability to focus on her art, be loving and kind even in the midst of chaos, and most of all her artistic abilities and creativity just take my breath away. It was such an honor to photograph for you and your book Sarah. It was the most exciting project I have worked on to date. I am so exited to work together again;)
