online workshop news!

hello! 
it's friday already?  how did this happen?  i certainly planned to check in here for the usual posts this week, but i became completely swamped with all sorts of (good) things that had to be done.  throw in my tricycle riding toddler into the mix and things are never dull around here!  oh, and just for the record, she rides the tricycle while singing "rain rain go away" at the top of her lungs.  as i said, never a dull moment! 


in between sing-alongs, i've spent the entire week focused on putting together the best possible online workshop to share with you. i turned all of my scribbled notes and diagrams from my sketchbook into an official document on the computer.  i began to dive into all of the planning headfirst. each and every dreamy detail is getting plugged into its proper place.  there's so much to do, but the best news is, i don't have to do it all alone.  i'm so incredibly thrilled to be working with a fantastic team of talented folks who are helping me along the way.  all the technical behind the scenes stuff that scares me?  taken care of so that i can focus on the teaching and creating.  yes indeed, feeling oh-so-lucky about that!  


so this week found us having hour + long phone meetings, all about planning, tweaking, and scheduling.  i keep having to pinch myself, because after our phone calls, i can really see it, and it's going to be amazing!  much like the book, this is truly a labor of love.  a whole lot of work will go into making this just how i envision it, but in the end, it's going to be pretty darn beautiful and 100% worth it. 


that being said, there's one important part of the story that needed to be changed this week, and i wanted to be sure to let you know first so that you can plan ahead...  


earlier this week, it became clear that in order to truly make this the best it can possibly be, in order to really follow though with all of my ideas for the workshop, we need a bit more lead time.  so, the start date of the e-course  online workshop will be moved up from april to july.  this certainly took some reshuffling of things in my head, but now i can clearly see that this is the way to go.  to give plenty of time to move everything into place without needing to rush or feel completely stressed. (been there done that with the whole "i had a baby and wrote a book thing"!)  i know many of you were ready to join me this spring, instead, i hope too see you in the early summer for some paint-filled creative adventures in my sunny studio!  perhaps it was always meant to be this way... after all, july has always been my favorite month!  


please know, from here on out, i'll be keeping you in loop here on the blog. you'll be the first to know what's happening and when, so be sure to stay tuned.  


as for next week, all of the video shooting begins in my studio, and hopefully, along with that, many more details for you as well!
